📉 The Shekel Report — June 2026
After three months of relentless gains, June brought a pause. The shekel gave back some ground — USD/ILS climbed from 2.813 to 2.978, briefly touching 3.00 on June 26th — as a firmer US dollar reasserted itself globally.
It was an orderly move rather than a reversal: the shekel softened against every major currency this month, yet remains far stronger than where it began the year.
